As the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 2013 World Plowing Championships hosted by the Canadian Plowing Organization and Olds College I would like to thank you for visiting our web site.

As you may be aware, we last hosted the World Championships at Olds College back in 1986. We look forward to welcoming you back to Canada, the great Province of Alberta and to our rural community of Olds.

In 2013, it will be one complete century since our founder and first President W.J. Elliott opened the doors of the Olds School of Agriculture and Home Economics. And what a storied century it has been. We are pleased that Olds College has agreed to host these Championships as an integral component to our 100th Anniversary
